This image shows a torn piece of paper taped onto the outside of a window with the quote "Every day may not be good... but there is something good in every day." This quote suggests that though sometimes things may not go the way we want them to and somethings leave us feeling down, we should always look on the bright side of life and focus on those things around us that keep us smiling and get us through the day. The image is soft and the warm colours add a light, friendly touch to the picture. The torn and rough edges of the paper may represent a feeling of resentment and hurt that fall upon us during times of hardship. However, the warmth reflected off the colours in the background and the seeming effortless beauty of the picture represent the joy and happiness behind all the sadness and pain of everyday life.   I chose this particular image because I think it's easy to focus on the bad things in life that we forget about the good times and simple pleasures that pass us by.   :]

This second picture features a weeping stone angel. Angels are innocent creations of god. They represent love, beauty and life. However, this angel has it's head beant down in despair and sadness as though it has given up on it's life. The single tear represents lonliness and vulnerability because it is single and alone. This is a metaphoric image because statues do not cry in the real world but the message of the image is that even the most innocent and amazing of creations still feel emotions such as sadness and rejection just like we do. This is the reason I picked this photo, because even if something is assosiated with something such as grace and happiness, there may still be darkness and lonliness hidden deeply behind that mask. The dark colours used in this image also add a sense of loss and hopelessness to the image because they are in dull shades and there are shadows that may hold secrets or feelings that have not been exposed to anyone or anything and have never been revealed.  :]

This picture is of a path hidden beneath a blanket of freshly fallen autumn leaves. It's fall in this image and it shows that there is beauty in everything around us, especially nature. The colours in this image are soft and attractive, it shows that things are much more beautiful and appealing in their natural form, just as god made them, not artificial and fake which is what is being fed to the world through media. I chose this picture because it represents thjose simple pleasure that surround us in everyday life but are not truly appreciated and loved as they should be. The warmth of the colours in the picture create a sense of calm and peace, something that we dont get much of in everyday lifeand the way the branches of the trees twine closly with eachother above the ground create a comfortable and safe atmosphere. There is no one in the picture which creates a feeling of secrecy and privacy as though it's a place where no one else knows of or it's your own.  :]

Lastly, I chose this image which shows two hands gently holding onto one another while they onlook the calm waves of the sea under a peaceful evening sunset. The sepia effect of the picture adds a feeling of pleasure and peacefulness to the image. This is because the colour is light and not over powering. The people holding hands could be bestfriends or they could be a couple in love, either way, by looking over the sea it shows that they still have a long way into life and a lot of it left. The sun may represent time meaning that they have to make the most out of their life before the time runs out or comes to an end. I chose this image because I think life should be spent with those that are closest to you and who love you most and that you should make the most of life before it's too late. <3

There is a hige contrast between all these images. For example, the first image is giving the message that you should never give up and look on the bright side, keep your thoughts happy. Where as, the second image is about sadness and giving up. The third picture shows beauty in nature and secrecy and privacy and the last image is talking about sharing life with those you love most and making the most of life before it's too late.  :)
