Charnel Class | Synopsis

Rose Whitmore, a young and innocent woman who is ignorant to the deleterious and mortal lives that prowl the shadows of the world, lands herself a job as a teacher at Brentford Education Centre for mentally unstable girls. Here, she is exposed to this dark and harsh reality when she focuses her attention on one particular student, Indiana.
Indiana suffers greatly from a lack of connection with the outside world. She lives an empty life in a permanent state of solitude and is fiercely sheltered by her damnable and obscene imagination. Rose takes a keen interest in the intriguing way that Indiana is involuntarily unaware of events taking place around her and her surroundings. She makes it her personal mission to understand what makes her this way and to bring back hope, once more, into this troubled teen’s life.
Unaware of what she’s landed herself into, she makes the terrifying discovery that Indiana is heavily involved in Hoodoo magic. It controls all aspects of her life and has her trapped prisoner in its tight and unforgiving, invisible grasp. Undeterred by this, Rose is curious as to whether she could use Hoodoo to cure Indiana and bring her back to the real world. Indiana fights her corner and does not give in to Rose, not once letting her head hang and holding on tightly to her dangerous, fantasy world of magic.
Rose is victorious and convinces Indiana to let go. With the help of hoodoo, she demonstrates to Indiana how it is ruining her life and helps her to connect for the first time, with the rest of the outside world- the real world.
